We would like to thank all those who gave us support when we came under
Attack by the State. Due to the money we received we were able to pay our bail
bonds and hire a lawyer. If it wasn't for this support we would still be in
jail. On the same note we would like to criticise those who did not send money,
or even call or write. When we come under attack we are dependent on each other
for support. In our situation where we are geographically far from most
political activity we could have easily been destroyed. there were even people
who did not want any communication with us in fear they would get tied in with
us and come under the same repression.!...It means so much just to know that
people are concerned with your situation...Our court date has already moved 3
times. The Prosecutor offered us fines and probation but we didn't accept. Our
lawyer got most of our property back. The sheriffs office would not return our
stencils and claim they didn't take pamphlets. We put out a 16 page community magazine, Alarm! River City Resistance, that we got some local stores to carry. We are also working on a dictionary of revolutionary politcal terms and a pamphlet series called "Statements from Political Prisoners" that includes Herman Bell, Sundiata Acoli, Ojore Lutalo and Assata Shakur. We are also working with NJ ABC to create an ABC home page on the internet. Our Free Food Program continues each week.
