Ben Alterman is currently serving a prison term in Loddon Prison, Castlemaine,
Victoria.
His parole comes up in February 1997. Money can be sent to him as a postal
order so that he can purchase foodstuffs, etc from the prison canteen.Ben Alterman was expelled from the International Socialist Organisation after being charged for a hold-up of a hairdressers salon.
He has contributed a few articles to Rank And File News, Feb/March edition 96 exposing companies that profit from prison labour. It is unfortunately the trend in Kennett's great regime, as it is all over the world, that prisons become privatised and profitable. It will soon pay the rich to keep us rabble rousers in jail where we will be forced to work on sub-award wages in order to make them rich bastards richer.
